 In the pursuit of spiritual growth and inner enlightenment,
intellectual meditation stands as a profound and transformative practice.

By meditating on and contemplating with philosophical concepts, and noetically traveling upon the theoretical trails of Great Minds, we extend our mental horizons towards infinity, and expand our Consciousness.

By meditating on and contemplating with symbols & archetypes,
we
delve into the Essence of Universal Truths, we can reflect on Divine Nature and it's energies, and raise our Consciousness.

Only through the path of Intellect can we experience Forms & Ideas,
while Being on the Cosmic level is achievable through psycho-emotional meditations as well.


With this post i aim to
clear some waters of Intellect's meditative practices,
and offer insights & practical guidance for the journeys of Mind.


Intellectual Meditations "How-To"
- intro  creating a ground floor -


୭ Enjoy one deep breath.
Begin your meditation with a moment of relaxation, to release any distractions or thoughts unrelated to the task at hand, and prepare yourself.
Focus on your breath, and use it as a grounding technique.
 
Inhale and center yourself.
Gather your Mind. Collect your thoughts and become mentally centered, fostering a state of Conscious Awareness.
 
Exhale and release 'all else'.
Let go of everything external to your immediate self. Release external distractions, worries, and preoccupations. Center your attention solely on your inner self and the present moment, fostering a state of mindfulness and inner focus.

- repeat as many times required, as to Consciously Focus on your Mind's Now -

* some meditative practices require to release all you hold in the 'sense of self' or 'eso-structure' .


Be Conscious while reading ~ Experience what the words convey.
As you start reading the chosen content, do so with mindfulness.
Pay close attention to the words, sentences, and ideas presented. Try to fully understand and absorb the material as you go along.
 
Pause on names & symbols of Cosmos ~ implement their meaning.
Whenever you find references to cosmic symbols, names, or concepts, take pauses to contemplate their significance. Consider how these symbols or names relate to the broader themes or ideas being discussed and how they contribute to your understanding.
 
Let your Mind travel upon the intellectual paths.

Allow your mind to wander and explore the intellectual paths unraveled.
Follow the author's line of thought without raising oppositions of  'self'.
Suspend any immediate judgments, biases, or preconceived notions you may have.


Whilst in an intellectual meditation, we are to be open to new ideas and perspectives and gain a more comprehensive and nuanced grasp of the topic.
Ultimately, expanding our Horizons.
 
Follow the wondering trails & experience their dichotomies, their limits & Horizons, explore the paradoxes.
 
"Dichotomies" refer to the division or contrast between two opposing ideas or concepts. When you experience the dichotomies within the wondering trails, you're actively engaging with the conflicts, contradictions, or dualities present in the content.

This involves recognizing when the content presents opposing viewpoints, arguments, or themes and considering how they interact. By experiencing these dichotomies, you gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of the subject matter.
 
"Limits & Horizons of concepts & ideas" are essential to understand.
Limits can be both practical and theoretical. Practical limits may involve constraints on the application of a concept in the real world, such as legal or ethical boundaries. Theoretical limits may involve the constraints imposed by the nature of the concept itself, such as mathematical limits in a formula.

In addition, it helps prevent the over-generalization or misapplication of concepts, ensuring they are used appropriately. It also allows for a more nuanced and accurate understanding of complex topics by acknowledging where concepts may fall short.
 
"Explore the Paradoxes" that you encounter.
Pause. Breathe in them. Experience the conceptual polarity and the in-between field. Comprehend the distance between the Ideas, and feel their Cosmic dynamics.
 
Finish your meditative session with Stillness.
Once you finish reading, take a deep, relaxing breath and be still for a while.
Allow your Mind to assimilate the knowledge you've acquired, and your Spirit to settle into a state of deeper understanding and inner tranquility.
 
This pause provides the space for the information to become a part of your broader cognitive framework, which will enhance your intuitive approach &/or philosophical contemplation sessions.
